Medaka Egg Disclaimer

Medaka eggs are a natural product and, like all living organisms, outcomes can vary. While eggs are produced from carefully selected parent fish, it is important to understand that there is no guarantee that the offspring will exactly resemble the parent fish.

Many medaka varieties are the result of selective breeding, and some traits may not yet be fully fixed. Because of normal genetic variation and fixation rates within a strain, fry may display differences in colour, pattern, scale type, or other characteristics as they develop. This is a natural part of breeding and genetic expression in medaka.

Eggs are supplied with the expectation that they will hatch under appropriate conditions, but the appearance and traits of the resulting fish cannot be guaranteed. By purchasing medaka eggs, you acknowledge and accept that variation within the offspring is possible and is a normal part of keeping and breeding these fish.

Please note: Grandblue KWF, Koutei, Wazumi, Party Dress, Lumina, and Oiran varieties are NOT GUARANTEED HARDY since the parents have been raised indoors, in warmer water temperatures.
